Ryoko Kaneta Solo Exhibition Concludes Successfully
Ryoko Kaneta’s solo exhibition “Utsuroi no Nagisa, Kodamasu Miyama” concluded on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Held from Wednesday, August 26 to Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at ART GALLERY 1 & 2 on the 10th floor of Daimaru Tokyo, the exhibition featured and offered for sale a selection of new works inspired by Ryoko Kaneta’s visit to the Suwa region of Nagano Prefecture and by the nature, history, mythology, and culture rooted in the area.

Throughout the exhibition, many visitors had the opportunity to experience, through Kaneta’s works, the passage of time flowing through the land of Suwa, the connection between nature and people, and the presence of things that cannot be seen.
HRD ART Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “HRD ART”) supported the exhibition.
■ New Works Inspired by the Nature and Mythology of Suwa
The exhibition presented new works created based on the landscapes and natural atmosphere Ryoko Kaneta encountered while visiting various locations throughout the Suwa region, including Lake Suwa and Suwa Taisha, as well as the history and mythology accumulated throughout the area.
The exhibition featured works depicting natural elements such as water, mountains, lakes, and stones, together with memories and stories associated with local mythology and the land, expressed through Kaneta’s distinctive characters in a variety of sizes. A wide selection of works, centered on her new creations, was presented at the venue.

■ “Miorinne Collection” Well Received; Collaboration Products Sold Out
Alongside the exhibition, “Miorinne Collection,” featuring the latest goods based on “Miorinne,” an original character created by Ryoko Kaneta, was held at the event space on the 1st floor of Daimaru Tokyo from Wednesday, August 26 to Tuesday, September 1.
In particular, the latest collaboration product “天地詩集系列 (Poems of Nature Series)” with LUCKY LOOP, an art toy brand under the Alibaba Group, received a strong response and sold out successfully.
Miorinne-related products jointly developed with ZINKO, a company involved in licensed merchandise for films and other works, were also displayed, attracting attention from many visitors for their unique designs and mechanisms.

■ A Message to Everyone Who Visited
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited the exhibition, everyone who viewed the artworks, and all those involved in and who supported the organization of the exhibition.
HRD ART will continue to promote the activities of Ryoko Kaneta and other artists both in Japan and internationally, while creating more opportunities to share the appeal of their works with audiences around the world.
