Artist Ryoko Kaneta will hold a solo exhibition “Beyond the shooting star” at GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS “GINZA ATRIUM”.
Ryoko Kaneta is an artist who expresses nature itself, natural phenomena, and other beings beyond human knowledge by depicting them as anthropomorphic girls. Her style, which also incorporates Japanese culture and climate, has made her very popular overseas, and in 2023 she held solo exhibitions in Shanghai, London, Singapore. In January of this year, she announced a collaboration with the luxury mechanical watch manufacturer “FRANCK MULLER”. (Licensing agent: HRD ART Co., Ltd.)
This exhibition, her first solo exhibition in Japan in four years, will feature 12 new works, including large-scale paintings. Please enjoy the world view of Ryoko Kaneta, who is active in Asia and other parts of the world.
